DSR minutes 2002 and older may be in compressed .TIF format to achieve the best
balance between file size and high resolution. Plugins are available for
various browsers that will allow you to view these files. Google will find
them for you.
Be careful - sometimes the plugins contain adware. Check them with
your antivirus and malware scanners before you install them.
If you elect to not install the plug-in or you're using something other than
Internet Explorer, you will need an external program capable of viewing
.TIF files. How this works is dependent on the invididual user's system,
so it is not possible to post directions here. When you click on a scanned
file, you will likely get a dialog box asking whether or not you want to
Open or Save the file. Usually what you want to do is Open.
The older minutes are in two styles - some individually indexed pages
and a .PDF file for the whole year. This is due to old records being
discovered at a later date and added to the archive. If you can't find
what you're looking for in the indexed docs, check the .PDF file and vise
versa.
Our records are still incomplete, but old files are still discovered every
now and then.
