DSR has been part of my life since 1999 when I first visited it and fell in love with the spirit of the land and the beauty of the Ranch. I bought some lots, built a cabin, and served on the Board as member then as President a few years after that. After selling those properties, my wife and I bought lot #151, at the end of Quarter Horse Lane as you come into the Ranch (the old Nuttall property). We've kept busy cleaning up and clearing out and plowing down and hauling off, and are getting closer every year to how we want the place to be. We'll never get there but it's fun trying. We live in Texas where my wife works and the kids go to school, but we come out here as often as possible. My wife retired from Southwest Airlines and we fly for free, so I'm out at the Ranch at least once a month. And we have family and friends stay at our place regularly too because they really enjoy the experience that Deer Springs offers.
