I came to visit Deer Springs Ranch 2 years ago when I married Kathy Pierce who owned a lot. I came to see a property that my wife talked about all the time. She shared her love about the ranch. The first time I came, I was "Hooked". I absolutely loved this place. It is a way for families to come together and have a place that they can call their own. Like they say, "Families that work & play together, stay together". I would like to see this motto for our "Ranch Family". We come to Deer Springs Ranch 2 to 4 times a month and love it here. Both my wife and I would love to build a cabin and retire at Deer Springs Ranch. My wife and I live in St. George, Utah.

I was raised on a farm producing hay, grain and corn for a dairy farm. I worked this family farm until I was 18 years old. I learned the value of "Hard Work". I then went into the mining industry and I have experience with heavy equipment and taking grade for roads, explosives with mining. I have owned my own trucking company and driving semi- trucks, maintenance and services for these trucks. I was a mechanic for the mining company, trucking company and for Polaris ATV dealership.

I believe that I can offer my skills in assisting and improving the ranch and its fairness in those improvements. I believe that all improvements need to be for all members of the ranch. I would be open to all suggestions and membership ideas for improvements and maintenance for the ranch if I’m elected. My biggest concerns about the ranch that I have seen during my ownership are roads and maintenance. I believe all the board members need to work hand and hand with the ranch managers as they have more "hands on" about concerns and issues with them living on the ranch.

There are a lot of you members that I have not met yet, but I look forward to meeting each of you and getting to know you all. My commitment would be to serve as a board member in representing all members of the ranch.
